4 – Winning Ways
After a shaky start to the Premier League campaign, the Gunners made sure they pulled off what they do best, and finished the season in one of the best ways possible.
After the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham in early February, Arsene Wenger’s men produced an impressive eight consecutive victories in the Premier League.
Altogether, Arsenal managed to knock 18 goals past their opposition, whilst the in-form David Ospina only conceded five, an impressive stat which saw Arsenal fans doubt who should start the FA Cup final.
One of the standout performances at the Emirates was the demolition of Liverpool, as Arsenal knocked four past The Reds to ensure their Champions League qualification hopes stayed alive.
Following that, the Gunners managed a hard-fought win over Burnley before league leaders, Chelsea, put a dent in their run with a frustrating 0-0 draw that all but confirmed the title was heading towards Stamford Bridge.
The run of victories was the best in the Premier League this season, and yet another showing of how Arsenal are ready to challenge for the title next season.
