We couldn’t forget about what happened in the Gunners’ final game of the season, as we lifted the FA Cup trophy for a record 12th time.
Goals from Walcott, Alexis, Mertesacker and Giroud mean Arsenal came out as 4-0 winners on the day, with Wenger’s men producing one of the performances of the season.
The boss is now the most successful manager in this competition after winning it in consecutive seasons, which now means he has won it six times compared to Sir Alex Ferguson’s five.
However, the manager stated after the final that his best years weren’t from picking up ant trophies, it was the fact he had managed to keep the club stable whilst competing with billionaire teams.
The FA Cup victory means Arsenal will now play Chelsea in the Community Shield on August 2nd, but will we be seeing any new faces?
