Arsenal secured their first win at Anfield since 2012 with a hard-fought 1-0 victory on Sunday evening.
The Gunners started really well and controlled the game. They were rewarded for their effort when Declan Rice broke through and his great cross found Kai Havertz at the back post who tapped it in to an empty net.
Liverpool fought back but were toothless, not managing a shot on target in the whole game. Arsenal had chances on the break to end the game but failed to make them count.
Arsenal held on for another clean sheet and the win meant they moved three points clear at the top of the Premier League – taking full advantage of Manchester City’s back-to-back defeats.

Man of the match: Declan Rice has to be man of the match – he was incredible again. But I’m going to give it to Ezri Konsa too, what an impeccable performance on the biggest stage. Isak has made Saliba and Gabriel struggle before and Konsa gave him nothing, winning 7/7 duels.
