3. Unexpected Signing
Take yourself back to the middle of August, 2013 – did you ever think or even dream of Arsenal signing Mesut Ozil? Two weeks later it was all done. There is the potential that Wenger could pull another rabbit out the hat this summer and nobody quite knows who that could be at this moment. Some whispers are suggesting Robert Lewandowski, although I find that extremely hard to believe. You never know, maybe Javi Martinez feels the need to move on as after the arrival of Arturo Vidal, regular central midfield game time may be restricted. Martinez has always been my favourite defensive midfielder in the world, so signing him would realise my dream, Arsene?
It seems a defensive midfielder and striker are the most likely arrivals, if any signings are made at all. If they do come, you’d expect Joel Campbell and Mathieu Flamini to be drafted out of the club to make room.
