4. Juan Francisco Torres Belén (Juanfran)

Juanfran, who was born in the Alicante region of Spain, worked his way through the Real Madrid youth academy. From 2003 he was a regular player for Real Madrid’s B team and started his career as a winger. In January 2004 he made his debut with the first team and subsequently played a total of 6 games in La Liga over his first two seasons. Juanfran was loaned to RCD Espanyol for the 2005-06 season. The following season he was signed to CA Osasuna for whom he made 148 appearances and scored 12 goals during his five-year tenure. In January 2011 Atlético Madrid signed him until June 2015. During the 2011-12 season he started to play regularly as a right back and to date has made 111 La Liga appearances for Atlético.

Juanfran has played for Spain at youth level from 2003 and senior level since 2012. He’s been named in Spain’s 30-man provisional squad for the 2014 World Cup.
