CB –Â Kostas Manolas
Although Roma are persistent that Manolas is not for sale, they have made a number of defensive signings in recent weeks that indicates otherwise. The Greek international remains the most established and settled defensive option that they have, but with Arsenal and Chelsea lurking, the Italian club may be forced to sell. The asking price is reportedly set at £37million. That’s probably more than Arsenal would be willing to pay, but if they could negotiate that down to around £30million then I think the Gunners would consider pushing through with a move. Arsenal are also being heavily linked with Daniele Rugani of Juventus after they signed Mehdi Benatia.
