Reports: Arsenal hope to conclude 3 deals worth £100m next week

Arsenal look set to accelerate their summer spending next week, with three deals worth around £100million set to be concluded.

That is according to numerous sources, including the Daily Mail, who say that the club are ready to spend £70million on Gabriel Jesus and Lisandro Martinez this week.

Mundo Albiceleste are also reporting that Arsenal will follow up with another bid for Lisandro Martinez after their initial £25million offer was rejected.

Arsenal are also said to be closing in on a deal for Jesus. The Daily Mail are just one of a number of sources to claim this. Today, Brazilian source Globo has also claimed that Arsenal are close to making the signing at close to £50million.

According to Di Marzio, Arsenal will do everything to close a deal for Jesus, but they are facing competition from North London rivals, Tottenham.

Arsenal are also set to confirm a deal for Fabio Vieira from FC Porto. The deal has already been confirmed by Porto and Arsenal are expected to announce it officially on Monday. ESPN report that the deal is worth an initial £30million.

Vieira will add attacking options to the Arsenal midfield. He was one of the most creative under-23 players in Europe last season and will help reduce the teams reliance on Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

If Arsenal can complete deals for all three players, it would be a fantastic start to the transfer window and ensure they have most of their new arrivals in place before pre-season kicks off.

The club will also likely sign a central midfielder, with Youri Tielemans heavily linked.

Arsenal will also be looking to make significant sales this summer. The likes of Lucas Torreira, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Pablo Mari, Bernd Leno and Nicolas Pepe look to be available for transfer, whilst Nuno Tavares could be allowed to leave on loan.
