In the last few weeks, Arsenal have done a pretty good job of leaving us on strings as we awaited official confirmation that Gabriel Magalhaes was a Gunner.
But just over a week after his signing was confirmed, the first pictures of Gabriel in training at London Colney have surfaced following another session ahead of the season opener.
Mikel Arteta’s side make the short trip to Premier League newcomers, Fulham, kicking off the 2020/21 campaign as the first game of the season on Saturday lunchtime.
It remains to be seen whether the duo signing of Gabriel and Dani Ceballos will be eligible to feature, given the uncertainty around protocols of isolation periods following their recent arrivals at the club.

It remains to be seen if Gabriel will start for Arsenal against Fulham. As a left-footed central defender, he plays as a left centre back and has to date featured in a back four for Lille, alongside former Southampton defender Jose Fonte. Arsenal are likely to start the season in a five, and it’s possible the Brazilian could line up alongside both David Luiz and William Saliba.
