Arsenal fans are getting excited after technical director Edu Gaspar appeared to hint at more summer signings.
The Gunners have so far secured the signing of Willian, Gabriel Magalhaes and most recently Dani Ceballos on loan. And within the confirmation of Ceballos coming back, Edu seemed to hint that Arsenal fans can expect some more arrivals before the window shuts next month.
As quoted on Arsenal.com, Edu said: “We’re thrilled to have Dani back with us for the new season. We all know his qualities after an impressive 2019/2020 campaign, which ended with him playing a key role in our FA Cup success. We’re excited to add Dani to the list of quality players we are bringing in.”
And it is that final sentence that has sent some Arsenal fans excitement levels flowing.
It seems there is a lot of hope that deals for Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar can be completed. We told you last month about the reports suggesting Arsenal had bid for Aouar.
His talent is unquestionable and his ability to play as a number 8 or number 10 would excite the tactically versatile Arteta.
Aouar’s excellent performances in Lyon’s unexpected Champions League run will mean interest in the 22-year-old will not be exclusive to just Arsenal. However, according to Football.London Arsenal may have an edge in any battle for the player.

Arsenal will likely have to move players on if they are to sign the calibre of player the fans want. The likes of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi may be options to sell, as Mikel Arteta looks to reshape his midfield.
