Arsenal have been given a huge boost after it has been revealed that Chelsea will allow Petr Cech to join a Premier League rival this summer. The news comes a few days after it emerged Cech wants to join Arsenal.
Cech definitely wants to stay in the Premier League and Roman Abramovich now appears to have sanctioned a move to a Premier League rival, with Arsenal and Manchester United heavily interested.
The latest report comes from the reliable Telegraph, they report:
High level discussions have taken place inside Stamford Bridge over what stance should be taken over Cech and there is agreement that the club should not stand in the 33-year-old’s way if he wishes to remain in England – The Telegraph
Last week Fresh Arsenal revealed that signing Cech was one of Arsene Wenger’s priorities for the summer. The Czech international is also wanted by Manchester United, as they look for a replacement for David de Gea, who they fear will join Real Madrid.

If Cech did arrive, one of Woijech Szczesny or David Ospina would more than likely leave. Szczesny appears the most likely to depart, but it could just be a loan move, with Southampton interested in loaning the Polish stopper.
Manchetser United will provide competition for The Gunners, but Wenger will hope the stability of London will give Arsenal the edge.
The signing of Cech would be a significant boost for Arsenal’s title chances next season. He is a world class goalkeeper and there are not many of them available at the moment, we simply cannot afford to miss out on him.
