5 – Santi Cazorla released
We said goodbye to a really brilliant player this summer in Santiago Cazorla and whilst Emery probably didn’t have much influence on whether he stayed on or not, Emery has a real job in finding a replacement for the Spanish magician. The Gunners have been heavily linked with Ever Banega, who does fit the mould. He’d be cheap too at around £12million – it’s good to see Emery recognise the need for a creative influence at the club, as many believe Arsenal have it in abundance, but that is a myth, with Cazorla out injured last season Arsenal often lacked a lot of quality in the final pass.
