2 – Stephan Lichtsteiner
Emery’s first signing was on a free, adding the experienced Stephan Lichtsteiner. Lichtsteiner has won a lot of silverware with Juventus in his 7 years at the club, and he has made a massive 98 caps for Switzerland. As well as playing as a right back, he can play in a more advanced role, suiting the right wing-back role in a back five very naturally. Currently captaining Switzerland at the world cup, Lichtsteiner will be a good addition for sure and push Bellerin for a starting place, as well as adding lots to the team on and off the field.
