How Arsenal Could Line-Up Next Season

The Columbian striker, who currently plays his trade at FC Porto has been another of Arsenal’s long-term targets.

Martinez has an impressive goalscoring record this campaign, to make a big case for himself too, netting 20 goals in 28 league appearances for his club, along with 7 goals in 8 Champions League matches.

The presence of a world-class centre forward at the club would only do us a world of good. It would apply more pressure and competition for first-choice Olivier Giroud in that position, should the manager feel Danny Welbeck wouldn’t suffice.

Welbeck’s goal return up front on his debut season at the Emirates has admittedly been poor, with only 4 league goals to his name. The England international will need to step-up should he be considered good enough play as an out and out striker.
