How Arsenal Could Line-Up Next Season

Arsene Wenger might have already started to write up his summer shopping list with just a handful of fixtures to play, including the highly anticipated FA Cup final vs Aston Villa.

I don’t see the manager making too many signings this summer however, as he himself has admitted Arsenal are only after ‘world class players’, so I can only see a maximum of 3 signings.

Therefore, this is how the Gunners could possibly be lining-up, in a bid to mount a serious assault on the Premier League title next season.

In the last few months the Gunners have been linked with the veteran Chelsea shot-stopper, whose career at Stamford bridge is very likely to end this summer.

With the 32-year old Czech Republic international obviously unsatisfied with his current situation at Chelsea – playing 2nd fiddle to Thibaut Courtois in goal – the likes of Liverpool are also said to be keen on acquiring his services.

However, the major stumbling block in any deal would be convincing manager Jose Mourinho to allow the long serving goalkeeper, to sign for another Premier League team, as the Portuguese man himself has expressed his desire to keep Cech at the club.

But this would be an ideal and sensational signing for Arsenal, who are in need of a world-class ‘keeper like Cech at the club. No more than £20m should do it.
