Arsenal were held to a frustrating draw by Burnley on Saturday afternoon. The Gunners missed plenty of chances, gifted the opposition a goal and were unlucky with refereeing decisions AND hit the woodwork a couple of times.
Aubameyang scored again and gave the Gunners an early lead. But both Saka and Aubameyang missed chances to make the game 2-0. A moment of confusion/madness from Granit Xhaka and Bernd Leno led to the ball deflecting off of Chris Wood and into the net.

Our man of the match was Pablo Mari. The Spaniard is perhaps Arsenal’s best defender right now. He won a massive 7 aerial duels against a strong Burnley side today.
Pablo Mari with the SEVEN aerial duels won today. 4 clearances, 2 interceptions and 2 tackles as well.

Aubameyang was also good. He scored again and his movement, particularly in the first half, was sensational. It looks like he is back to his best and at a vital time for the club.
Our flop of the match has to be Granit Xhaka. Whilst Leno has to take some blame for his part in the goal, the German keeper was excellent aside from that incident. Granit has gone some time since a blunder like this but he has now had two big problems against Burnley this season, costing Arsenal 3 points in both instances.
