Arsenal head to Turf Moor on Saturday evening, as they look to pick up a better performance than their North London rivals, as they play relegation strugglers, Burnley.
The Clarets held Champions League contenders, Tottenham, to a 0-0 draw at the weekend, in a stalemate of a game that finished with less than 10 shots from both sides put together.
Arsenal on the other hand will be looking to continue their impressive form of 2015, as they look to further cement their position at second in the table.
Burnley have picked up a total of 18 points whilst playing at home this season, half of what Arsenal have achieved whilst playing at the Emirates.
In their last 10 fixtures, Sean Dyche’s side have managed just one win, which was the surprise 1-0 victory over Manchester City which could possibly save their season.
From a possible 30 points, only 6 have been taken, an unimpressive tally that leaves the Clarets clinging on to a chance of Premier League survival.
Things don’t improve when looking at their goalscoring record, as they only manage 0.84 goals every game, stats that can only be helped by top goalscorer, Danny Ings, who currently has nine in the league.
Turf Moor have had little to cheer about at home, with only 15 goals hitting the back of the net from their side, compared to the 21 they’ve conceded at the other end.
So things look all but rosy for the Gunners when they take the northern bound trip at the weekend, however they must be aware of the surprise Burnley hold.
They may be 18th in the league, but Burnley have taken seven points off the top six in the league so far, including 4 points off Manchester City, who failed to break down a resilient defence.
They will no doubt be clinging on to the home support and Dyche will be quite happy to take a point again this weekend, so Arsenal must make sure they break down any hope at Turf Moor early on.
