I know, I know. I’ve pointed this out already. But we really do. In all seriousness, he does have a wealth of experience. He has won league titles, European titles and domestic cups and in a footballing sense, he would be a valuable member of the squad. But, there is too much water under the bridge. Arsenal fans have been on his back for almost a decade and he has retaliated. Any bridges that may have survived in 2006 when the bomb dropped that he was leaving must surely have crumbled and fallen away now.
