The most experienced player on this list is well-versed in Arsenal’s style of football thanks to his time at Swansea City. The Welshman is an expert in tiki-taka football and would slot into our first team without effortlessly.
The 29-year-old is able to pass the ball better than most midfielders, and would be able to orchestrate our attacks from his position in defence. Patient, intelligent, and confident on the ball – Williams would flourish playing in Wenger’s possession-hungry side.
Defensively, Ashley has been outstanding for Swansea in recent years, and his Premier League experience would allow him to hit the ground running at Arsenal. A bid in the region of £12 million is likely to get Swansea interested in cashing in on their star man, and this makes him one of the most likely acquisitions on this list.
