Chuba Akpom
It’s about time this young man is given his chance to impress up front more often for Arsenal next season, after going out on loan to Nottingham Forest for the rest of the season.
Akpom has been developing and thriving under Arsenal’s illustrious youth academy set-up for 13 years now. He was an integral part of the youth teams last season, scoring 15 goals in 23 appearances. This season he made 7 substitute appearances overall, in the league and cup competitions.
We’ve seen glimpses of his potential but potential we know has all the makings of being explosive striking talent. I believe Arsenal could unearth a great English striker in the form of Akpom, and so Arsenal fans should look out for more of him next year.
