The 20 year-old defender enjoyed an impressive start to life at the Emirates, but throughout the course of the campaign has found first-team action hard to come by, with the presence of Bellerin occupying that right-back position.
It could be said that Chambers has somewhat faded away especially since the turn of the year, but most of his early season performances suggested that there is a promising young English defender in the making at North London, earning himself 3 senior caps for England.
Despite his natural position being on the right, many see Chambers’ future playing career in the middle, and with someone like Per Mertesacker beginning to age, Chambers is likely to see more game time awarded to him next term.
