The most unrealistic name in this article; but a name which the media are obsessing over. Of course the big money names will be the most talked about, but it doesn’t make a deal any more likely. If Wenger wants a striker, he’s likely to keep it quiet until a deal nears completion, just like he has managed to do with Elneny.
Arsenal do have an interest in Aubameyang though, Wenger was a fan of the electric forward during his days at Saint-Etienne. But it was Borussia Dortmund who took the gamble on the forward who has since developed into a complete striker. Signing the 26-year-old in the middle of a season seems a very unlikely prospect.
