Arsene Wenger may upset a few fans in the final week of the transfer window, with seemingly not much happening in terms of incomings, but plenty in terms of outgoings, and not for the people you may be expecting. In this article we take a look at the 3 deals Wenger looks set to approve before the window shuts.
1 – Skohdran Mustafi to Inter Milan
Mustafi is said to have agreed to terms with Inter Milan ahead of what looks to be a permanent move to Italy. The fee is likely to be between £20million – £30million, so the Gunners will be taking a loss on the £35million they invested in the German international last summer. Despite not having a brilliant debut season, Arsenal fans are a bit perplexed about this potential transfer. Mustafi is clearly a good defender, having been part of a World Cup winning squad and showing glimpses of top quality for Arsenal last season. A loan move seems pointless, so if Mustafi does leave, we expect Arsenal to push for any deal to be a permanent one.
