Arsenal were handed an injury boost when Arsene Wenger confirmed Aaron Ramsey would be back in training in 8 days.
Wenger told press on Friday: “For Ramsey it’s day 13 today and I think it will be day 21 before he is back into training.”
That means Ramsey is due to return to training on the day of the Hull City game, so we can’t expect him to play that game. The mid week game against Anderlecht looks like it will also come too soon for the Welshman, but he should return to the squad for Arsenal’s visit to Sunderland the following weekend on the 25th of October. All Arsenal’s fixtures can be found here.
Ramsey’s return to fitness will be a huge boost. Whilst he is not in the best form, he is still a match winner and an important part of this Arsenal team. It looks like he’ll only miss two more games, against Hull and Anderlecht, both games the Gunners should be able to negotiate successfully without him.
Arsene also gave us an update on Walcott, Gnabry and Arteta. Find out what he said here.
