2. Morgan Schneiderlin
Whilst publicly at least it seems that Arsenal’s interest in Schneiderlin has faded – they are actually still very much interested in the French midfielder. Schneiderlin may wonder how much first team football he will get if he moved to London, especially after the emergence of Francis Coquelin.
With Kondogbia now set to sign for Inter Milan, Arsenal may once again turn their attentions to Schneiderlin. Southampton are holding out for £24million and with the likes of Manchester United interested – you’d expect them to raise that, or at least get very close.
At this moment I would still consider Schneiderlin as the most likely midfield arrival. Likelihood rating: 7/10
