This has to be one of the simplest designs created by Nike for Arsenal. It is the third kit sponsored by Fly Emirates and also the first shirt to sport short sleeves. The red body with the white neckband and white sleeves with red cuffs gives it a retro feel harking back to the famous 1971 jersey. Plain white socks, featuring the Nike “tick”. It’s a simple statement. Out of all the red and white strips this is one of my favourites.
