Three Things We Learnt vs Leicester

2. Sanogo isn’t ready yet:

Yaya Sanogo has been getting a lot of stick lately and in my eyes it is rather unfair. It can’t be understated that his lack of goals is worrying but he is young and raw and will need time to bed in to the Premiership still, after all he has only played 17 matches. The stick towards him is totally  unjustifiable. It’s not his fault that he is currently our no.1 striker, it is Arsene and Arsenal’s. He shouldn’t have to be relied upon as heavily as he is and a loan move would definitely do him some good. He has very good hold-up play when the ball comes into his chest or head and he likes to get many shots away during games. The potential is definitely there and if he can sharpen up his first touch and goal scoring instincts whilst on loan somewhere he would come back a different player. Whilst this is unlikely to happen with Wenger seemingly  not wanting a striker I think it would do him a world of good for his Arsenal career.
