We’re kicking off this feature with something that’s pretty much been linked in with each and every Gunners story since last season began, Alexis Sanchez.
1 – Alexis Lands In London
Yep, the Chilean has ditched his scarf and landed back on English turf after reportedly sorting his visa out in Paris on Monday.
Alexis posted plenty of updates on his Instagram story throughout the trip as he prepared to return to London Colney to start training with Arsenal.
He was pictured with his lawyer whilst catching the flight, causing speculation as to whether or not he’ll be negotiation a new deal or force his way out this summer.
It didn’t take him long to get the boots back on and later on in the day we were treated to a picture special that saw Alexis training alone in order to rebuild his fitness.
The 28-year-old was due to begin work on Sunday but after picking up an illness he was given the chance to recover and come back a bit later.
He’ll now join Shkodran Mustafi and Jack Wilshere who are two players fighting to be fit for the first game of the new campaign after starting full training later than the rest of the squad.
