Aston Villa welcome Arsenal to Villa Park hoping to continue their unbeaten start to the season, which sees them currently second in the table. Villa will be confidence after coming away from Anfield with three points and won’t be overwhelmed by facing The Gunners. Here’s 3 Aston Villa players to watch
With Paul Lambert this week signing a new contract extension, we look at which three of his players Arsenal must watch out for.
1. Gabby Agbonlahor
The 27 year old striker scored the winning goal last weekend and will be relishing the chance to play against the Arsenal defence, after their poor showing against Borussia Dortmund.
Agbonlahor is likely to play as a lone striker and will provide an outlet for Villa, just as he did last weekend. The Englishman looks set to be stand in captain again as Ron Vlarr is still side-lined.
Agbonlahor will hassle and harry the Arsenal defenders and he also has the pace to hurt them. I expect him to put in a shift against The Gunners and cause several problems. See the other two players by clicking below.
