After launching the 2015/16 home jersey a week ago, the official Puma kit went on sale in all nationwide stores yesterday.

However, a handful of the hundreds of people that visited the Armoury, which is located at the Emirates Stadium, were left bemused when they were unable to get certain names on the back of their shirts.

It seems that staff at the club’s shop refused to print the names of Lukas Podolski and David Ospina on the back of the new jersey, which is now the biggest suggestion yet that the duo will be shown the exit door this summer.

Arsene Wenger is expected to finalise a deal to let Podolski move on to Turkish outfit, Galatassary, as the 30-year-old looks to gain some regular first team football.

The Colombian shot-stopper on the other hand is expected to suffer a huge blow following an impressive second half to the season, as he edges closer to a £4m switch to Fenerbache.

Fans were also left confused as they were advised not to purchase ‘Szczesny, 1’ on the back of the brand new goalkeeper kit.

Despite that news, it could have a great deal to do with the fact that Petr Cech will immediately claim the number 1 jersey as he nears completion of his £11m transfer.

The Chelsea keeper took part in his medical earlier on today, and with a transfer fee and personal terms agreed, the Czech Republic international could be unveiled as early as Monday.

The club have not made any official statement regarding to the printing of shirts for the coming season, but after Arsenal fans were told the news, it seems as if we could be in line to welcome another fresh face this summer.

Fans can pick up the new home jersey in all major retailers and will launch their away kit on July 14th, which has been rumoured to feature a gold and navy trim which replicates the Gunners’ 2002/03 season.
