Revealed: Tottenham’s Lloris Could Join Arsenal This Summer And Levy Can’t Stop It

Arsenal could sign Hugo Lloris this summer for just £14.2million because of a release clause in his contract, according to French journalist Juilien Laurens.

Laurens claims Lloris has a clause which means if Tottenham do not qualify for the Champions League this season, then he will be able to join any other club for just £14.2million.

Although Lloris has only recently signed a five year contract extension, it is believed he may be looking to leave in the summer if Tottenham can’t secure Champions League football.

Lloris had long been a target for the Gunners before joining Tottenham, but once at the club many expected Daniel Levy to block any Arsenal attempt to sign the player.

If Lloris did complete the move across North London he would join the short list of players which include Sol Campbell to make the switch.

Manchester United have also been heavily linked with Lloris as a replacement for David de Gea if he does indeed join Real Madrid, as reported.
