Tomas Rosicky may have dropped his count of appearances this season, but he hasn’t lost any of the class this club has drilled into him

The midfielder featured 18 times for the Gunners this season, often featuring as a substitute for Wenger’s side during the final 30 minutes of the game.

Towards the end of January, Rosicky showed us he still has something in his locker, after pulling off a lovely piece of play to put the Gunners 3-1 up against Brighton and help his side progress to the next round of the FA Cup.

His services were utilised significantly at the beginning of the season as Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil and Mikel Arteta suffered sever injuries leaving Rosicky the chance to cover the open positions. He became an essential part of the team in November and December.

Sadly for the Czech Republic international, that has all he has really been used for this season, but he has maintained his professionalism within the media about his situation at the club.

Rosicky insisted that there was nothing stopping him from moving away from the Emirates in recent years, but he decided to stay due to the trust Wenger showed in the midfielder during the difficult times.

As a result of that, Rosicky put his faith back in Wenger and has since wound up with two FA Cup winners medals and played in a side that has been challenging for the title.

The sole aim now is to challenge for a starting place next season, but as he turns 35 in the next 12 months, things could be difficult and he will most likely only feature in the somestic Cup competitions. There is a small chance, if a good offer arrives that Rosicky would leave this summer.
