Season Prediction:
It’s hard to believe that Ramsey is only 25, but after his performance at the Euro’s this really needs to be a season where he can establish himself as a Premier League great. Whilst it’s going to be difficult to find the Ramsey from 2014/15, he now has competition around him to push on that extra 10% wherever he is playing. Whilst we know his preferred position is in the number 10 role, Ramsey now needs to find his place in this squad by cementing a position and making it his own. The best thing about the Welshman is how versatile he can be across all areas of the squad.
Player Objectives:
As we’ve said above, this really is a season where Ramsey can break out into legendary status and push Arsenal forward. Having spent so long at the Gunners he’ll want something to show for it so silverware will top his list.
Best Attributes:
His ability to turn defence into attack is something he does in his stride but this season will pan out somewhat differently. With Ozil in number 10, Ramsey will continue to play in just behind and that’s where his distribution is at its best.
Weak Areas:
Sometimes Ramsey is his own worst enemy and whilst trying to emulate the likes of Alexis and Ozil he can sometimes tend to over-do it. He needs to start coming alive in the games that matter and show he can be a leader as he begins to age.
