Arsenal have been linked with several moves for defenders in the last 48 hours, but it appears they may have finally settled on a new arrival.
According to L’Equipe, via GFFN, Chelsea defender David Luiz is in advanced talks with the Gunners over a move.

The 32-year-old has been pushed out of the first team picture under Frank Lampard, who is favouring other options in the heart of defence.
But Chelsea may still be reluctant to strengthen a rival, especially when, due to a transfer ban, they would not be able to recruit a replacement.
Laurent Koscielny left the club earlier this week and Arsenal are desperate to make a solid addition to their back four. Whilst Luiz may not be a stellar signing, he is a player that you feel would add good quality and experience to an Arsenal backline that seriously lacks it.
GFFN make the valid point that this potential deal does not come as a surprise, as Luiz is a client of Kia Joorabchian’s, who recently installed Technical Director Edu at Arsenal.
More to come.
