Arsenal completed two deadline day deals to round off an impressive summer off the pitch for the Gunners.
First, we take a look at Tierney, who was announced early in the afternoon.
He may only be 22, but Tierney has a vast amount of experience, including over 100 senior games for Celtic, 12 caps for Scotland and experience in the Champions League and Europa League. The left-back will compete with Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Monreal for a starting role, and has been handed the number three jersey.
Then, after the deadline had passed, Arsenal eased nerves by finally announcing the signing of Brazilian defender David Luiz. The former Chelsea man joined for £8million and has signed a 2-year deal.
Fresh Arsenal brought you the news that Luiz was set to sign for Arsenal last night, a piece of news that many found unbelievable at the time.
Elsewhere, Alex Iwobi joined Everton in a deal that could be worth up to £40million. We wish Alex the best of luck.
