After a frustrating couple of weeks for Arsenal and Arteta, the Gunners were back in their comfort spot of home ground and with that, their best football returned.
A nervy start then saw Arsenal break the Southampton press with a well-worked goal finished off by Alexandre Lacazette. Arsenal quickly made it two with Martin Odegaard nodding in his 3rd goal in as many games.
Gabriel Magalhaes netted in the second half to complete a convincing win for the Gunners, who were unlucky not to score more, with Saka and Martinelli both striking the post.

Man of the match: Martin Odegaard The Norweigan international was out of the Arsenal XI for a while, but he’s proving his worth since returning, adding goals to his game. He was influential throughout the game and scored a lovely header, the first of his career!
Flop of the match: Nobody worth of this title in this game.
