Man City Star Considering Arsenal Offer After Turning Down Huge Contract Offer

Arsenal are looking good to sign Manchester City star James Milner, after the England midfielder rejected a contract worth a whopping £34m with the Citizens in order to seek a free transfer away from the club this summer.

Milner, a reported target for Liverpool as well as the Gunners, has been a stand-out performer for the Citizens this season and has made 44 appearances in all competitions- but he believes this is due to injury problems and that first-team football isn’t guaranteed.

Arsenal are said to be readying a lucrative signing on bonus for the player due to his free agent status if he moves to the Emirates Stadium as they look to increase their squad strength this summer.

The Gunners are looking for a central-midfielder to play alongside Francis Coquelin and the arrival of Milner could fill that gap, as well as saving funds for Arsene Wenger to splash elsewhere- potentially on Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling.
