Once again, the 5th player I think Arsene should buy is the 4th defensive player I’ve mentioned, with Benzema in the other place. We all love him, good old Sami. Moving from VfB Stuttgart in 2010, Khedira has played 97 games for Real Madrid, including 98 other for VfB Stuttgart. At 27, he is widely known as a quality player in a seriously large postion for both World Cup winners Germany and Champions League Winners Real Madrid. He currently has 6 months left on his contract, as it expires in the summer. Unfortunately,with Louis Van Gaal aggression and power, there is a very good chance they can overpower any one to buy a player.(Due to FFP, they are the only English side that can actually afford Messi) In this case, Khedira really goes to the highest bidder. The Mail reported that we have had a £12million bid accepted for Khedira and will pay him over £150k per week. It’s all rubbish! They said he is not for sale this window and will allow him to leave for free in the Summer. But every player has a price, and if the price is right, we could have that CDM we have been waiting for, only 10 years late. I would love Wenger to bring him in, but nowadays it is all about money. We do however have Mesut Ozil, who was close friends with him before he left, and the Madrid team were angry at Ozil’s selling, and so would he jump at the chance to play with MO? I think so…
