3 – He might not come cheap
Back in the 2014/15 campaign, Real Madrid were reportedly hunting down Gaya’s signature and since then many European heavyweights have been keeping tabs on the defender.
For that reason, Arsenal have got competition coming in from all angles and they aren’t exactly the only team in the Premier League trying to capture his services.
We all know Valencia’s financial situation isn’t good at the moment, and they’ll have to sell before they can buy which is why we managed to get Shkodran Mustafi on the cheap.
However, they’ll hold out for every single penny if they have to, and Arsenal will have to pay big money for a very young player, something that may be seen as a risk.
But Wenger is used to taking risks and putting faith in the youngster will be a superb omen, because as we’ve seen through Iwobi, Bellerin and Ramsey that always pays off.
