4. Mathieu Flamini
Arsenal fans around the globe are desperate to sell Flamini this summer. In fact, I don’t know of one fan who actually wants to keep hold of him beyond this summer. Flamini was useful in the first season he returned, but last season his influence faded and Francis Coquelin showed the fans what a real defensive midfielder should do in that role. Flamini lacks discipline, energy and any sort of technical ability. With Mikel Arteta extending his contract for a year, we don’t have room for another old and injury prone midfielder. Bastia have been linked with a move for Flamini, so hopefully that can get completed as soon as possible.
