4 – Wojciech Szczesny
Yep, I’m just as gutted as you are but when Juventus come calling to replace a goalkeeper of Buffon’s stature you’re going to be pretty stupid to turn it away.
Having graduated from the Gunners academy, Szczesny has our club in his blood and I wouldn’t rule out a return in the future once Wenger has moved on.
There’s definitely been some sort of falling out between the shot-stopper and the boss after the purchase of Petr Cech and back-to-back loan spells hardly providing any confidence towards Szczesny.
He’s expected to seal a £13million switch to the Serie A champions within the coming days, meaning Arsenal could face a goalkeeping crisis going into the new campaign.
David Ospina is also eyeing up a move away from Arsenal and that would leave Wenger with only Emiliano Martinez to play second fiddle to current number one Cech.
