Five Imminent Arsenal Outgoings: How Much We’ll Sell For & Where They’ll End Up

Fresh Arsenal newsletter

Having sent two massive signings off on our tour of Australia, attention is now turning to who will get the boot from Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger isn’t holding back with his business this summer as pressure mounts on the 67-year-old’s shoulders ahead of what many call a make or break season.

He’s already revealed the club are after more signings but in order to do that, we’re gonna have to clear out some of the deadwood to free up a bit of cash.

Not only will that make way for a big name, it will also help us to get a clear idea on how the squad will line up and where needs to be strengthened with less than two months left of the transfer window.

I think we’ll get rid of six or seven first-team players this summer but here’s the select few that are preparing to pack their suitcases in preparation of an imminent exit.

1 – Lucas Perez

Things just haven’t worked out for the Spaniard since that last-minute move from Deportivo during last year’s transfer window.

I remember frantically searching for YouTube videos on my break at work and from what I saw things looked pretty promising for a man that needed to end a curse.

The number nine shirt has always been vacant for a serious striker capable of scoring 25+ goals a season but Lucas was never even given the chance to achieve that stature.

He’s now eyeing a dream switch back to his old club but they can’t meet his wages, nor the fee that Arsenal are demanding as they’re reluctant to get rid of him.

However, Lucas has been left out of the squad travelling to Australia and now that his shirt number’s been swiped by Lacazette, it’s only a matter of days before we see him waving goodbye.
