3 – Mathieu Debuchy
How many times have we been talking about this guy leaving Arsenal? Seriously though, it won’t be long until we’ve seen the back of him.
Debuchy’s Gunners career was over before it even began and after being left to rot in the U23’s the Frenchman is now free to leave (if he can find a club).
The fact is his wage demands and lack of footballing ability don’t exactly match up so anyone looking to sign a right-back gets put off pretty quickly.
He’s got one option really and that’s to lower his demands and get back to playing regular football for a half decent side, preferably back in Ligue 1.
Debuchy’s departure won’t mean too much in terms of replacements, with Wenger confirming he will start the season with three at the back.
