7 – Marco Asensio (£40m)
Keep an eye on the future of Marco Asensio whether it be something that materialises for Arsenal or not, because this is a player I would love to see in the Premier League.
Having recently landed yet another Champions League title, the 26-year-old is now weighing up his future with just one year left to run on his current contract.
Despite adding another 10 goals from 31 appearances in La Liga, it looks as if his days may be numbered with Carlo Ancelotti often relying on Asensio coming off the bench during the 2021/22 campaign.
Transfermarkt currently outline Asensio’s transfer value at £31m, a figure that would likely rise in order for Madrid to go out and find a replacement.
But it’s not an impossible transfer for Mikel Arteta to negotiate given his ability to sell the project in which the Spaniard would be an integral part to get Arsenal back into Champions League contention.
His undeniable experience would lend itself well to the youngsters and would add to a winning mentality of signings that already includes Gabriel Jesus.
