3. Wilfred Bony
An amazing first season in England. The former Vitesse striker has accumulated 16 goals this season. Powerful and direct, Bony is good in the air, has good pace and a goal scorer. A flash in the pan or a genuine star in the making? Another Premier League season should determine his calibre. As Swansea’s record signing at £14.5m, the Swans will want to get as much as they can for their prized possession. Is Bony worth the £20million that Swansea want for him? Remember how we were linked with Michu for the same figure last summer – aren’t we glad that we didn’t pursue that? Bony is physical enough to lead the Arsenal line by himself and although not the quickest, he is still certainly more mobile than Giroud and will cause all kinds of trouble for opposition defences in the Premier League, as he has shown already.
