The Colombian has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the last few transfer windows following consistent performances in Portugal and Champions League. The Porto striker has bagged 46 league goals in just 60 games and the quick hitman would be a thorn in the side of opposition defenders. A question remains over his physical attributes and if he has the presence to consistently perform in the Premier League. Certainly Martinez is a talent but will come with a hefty price tag for a striker who has yet to play in one of the five big European leagues. At over £30m Martinez represents an expensive gamble, one Arsenal can afford to take in their hunt for Premier League and Champions League success. There is a feeling that if Arsenal wanted Martinez they would have just activated his release clause in January when the Gunners desperately needed a forward. Could he adapt to the Premier League?
