3 – Daniele Rugani
Arsenal certainly need to sign a top central defender this summer, and although they may be targeting more established options in Kostas Manolas and Kalidou Koulibaly, Arsene Wenger may find more success when targeting Juventus defender Daniele Rugani. The Italian outfit are desperate to keep hold of the 21-year-old, but with Mehdi Benatia set to arrive, the player will surely be looking to move on. He is already behind the likes of Barzagli, Chiellini and Bonucci in the pecking order and with Benatia now at the club he is likely to be 5th in line. It is possible that Juventus are preparing to sell Bonucci though, with Manchester City and Chelsea interested in the Italian. If that happens Rugani is likely to stay at the club. Arsenal are definitely in the market for a defender this summer though the likes of Raphael Varane, Kostas Manolas and Kalidou Koulibaly are all being considered. If Rugani were to go he’d cost in the region of £20million-30million.
