Yesterday we brought you the news that Alexis Sanchez was close to completing a €40million move to Arsenal. Tonight, it appears the deal has been concluded. A fee has been agreed and Sanchez will reportedly sign a 4 year deal, with the option of a 5th, worth £140,000 per week.
The actual fee for Sanchez could be less than we first thought. Sources is Spain suggest a deal will cost Arsenal just £27.5million (€35million), with up to £2.3million extra in bonuses.
According to TalkSport Arsene Wenger has tonight himself confirmed that Arsenal will sign Alexis Sánchez. Wenger has been working for French media station TF1 for the World Cup, and Stan Collymore claims he has told the radio station a deal has been done.

Several media outlets in Spain this afternoon confirmed the deal for Sanchez was simply ‘hours’ away.
The BBC reported on Monday that Juventus were still keen on signing Alexis Sanchez. However Arsenal moved fast to up their bid to an amount that Juventus could not match. Liverpool had all but given up hope of landing the Chilean last week. The Reds are now closing in on Lazar Marković in a £23million deal as they look to re-build following Suarez’s imminent departure.
Fresh Arsenal also understands that Luis Suarez has agreed to join Barcelona for around £75million. The deal is done and is just pending an official announcement. This will pave the way for Sanchez’s move to Arsenal to be completed.
