Wellington Silva – UD Almeria
Wellington Silva featured in both games for UD Almeria this watch. In Almeria’s 1-0 win over Deportivo, Silva continued being positive this season by completing three out of four take-ons. In UD Almeria’s eventful 2-2 draw against Elche, Silva completed 90 minutes and tried to make things happen. He crossed the ball 18 times, completing six, and one shot-assist. What’s interesting is the Brazilian has been excellent defensively at this time in Spain. In his match against Elche, he completed three out of three tackles and had four ball recoveries.

Austin Lipman – Boreham Wood
Austin Lipman has hit a dry spell since coming to Boreham Wood. He has failed to find the back of the net for over a month now and has played a limited role this week. In The Wood’s 2-1 loss to Havant & Waterlooville, Lipman came on in the 78th minute. In Boreham Wood’s 2-1 win over St. Albans City, he was subbed off after 62 minutes.
Jon Toral – Brentford
Jon Toral continues to get used sparingly and this week is a good example of it. In Brentford’s 2-1 loss to Watford, Toral was an unused substitute. Although, in The Bees’ 3-1 win over Reading, Toral came on for the 32nd minute goal scorer, Alex Pritchard in the 84th minute.
Benik Afobe – MK Dons
Benik Afobe was quiet this week only playing one game against Yeovil Town. Afobe played the full 90 minutes but failed to score or assist. We’ll see if he can get back on form against Wimbledon on Tuesday.
Ryo Miyaichi – FC Twente
The Japanese international has continued to be used sparingly. This week Ryo was FC Twente’s only used substitute in their draw against AZ Alkmaar.
Carl Jenkinson – West Ham United
This week Carl Jenkinson was given his full debut for West Ham in their match against QPR. Jenkinson performed very well, not only with supporting the attack but defensively as well. In fact, he was excellent defensively, completing one out of one tackles, two interceptions, four clearances, one out of one headed clearance, and two blocked crosses.
