Arsenal have had a bid for William Carvalho rejected, but could bid again. The news comes directly from Sporting Lisbon.
It is thought Lisbon are asking for around £22million, and it is unknown what offer was rejected. Surely Arsene Wenger will be willing to stump up an extra few million to secure his signing.

Arsenal are still in the market for a defensive midfielder and it is thought William Carvalho is the main candidate to join. ESPN reported last week that Carvalho was holding out hope for a last minute move to the Gunners.
Sporting Lisbon have said they will sell Carvalho if their asking price is met, they have already signed his replacement. Go on Arsene, pay up.
