With just over 48 hours to go until the transfer window slams shut on September 1st, Arsenal are being linked with a whole host of players.
The news of Mohamed Elneny’s signficant injury coupled with the fact Arsenal are to be without Thomas Partey for at least two weeks has ramped things up a bit.
It’s believed the Gunners are ready to make a signing but whether that comes in a central midfield or right wing position remains to be seen.
However, in the midst of all the rumours has come a strong indication from South American and MLS commentator/journalist, Callum Williams on Arsenal’s movements.
Well, not to turn into @tombogert or @FabrizioRomano…. But I’m told this morning that #Arsenal have once again inquired about #Palmeiras midfielder Danilo. Ferreira, Pereira and co thought to be asking around $25m. Process sped up due to injury to Elneny #EPL #Brasileirao

Williams tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that Arsenal have enquired about Palmeiras midfielder, Danilo, thus reigniting their interest in the 21-year-old.
A Brazilian box-to-box midfielder and young in age, Danilo fits the bill for everything Edu and Arteta are looking for and could be available at a cut-price deal.
The midfielder has a contract that runs until 2026 but it’s believed the club wouldn’t stand in his way if a big bid was to arrive to support his absence.
